Romantic Honeymoon Resort in Rarotonga – How Do You Find One?

Article by Carolyn Wilkinson

There are lots of destinations in the South Pacific that have properties which advertise romance, ambience, atmosphere and the term hideaway, which would indicate that they would be ideal for a special occasion. However, on reaching their destination and having assumed that the description was correct, many couples are utterly disappointed at what they find. Especially when looking for the fulfillment of the terms used above, only to see in their accommodation choice, that there is a half used candle sitting in the middle of the table, and a rocky beachfront which is not ideal for an evening stroll, no sunsets to sit and watch, or sunrises to see coming up. This leaves them feeling completely shortchanged by their “romantic” honeymoon resort.

Some of the most beautiful places to stay in the South Pacific are located in Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. Rarotonga has many truly romantic properties, but it is important that research is done correctly. This means delving into the internet and using appropriate keywords to find the right destination. The terms, romance, Rarotonga, Cook Islands, luxury, accommodation, exclusive, villa and private, are all good terms to search under.

When you find a range of choices in the destination area you are searching under, then it pays to look further into each property and see just what is offered to ensure peace of mind in that it lives up to what it says and if it is in fact a romantic honeymoon resort. There are many ways to test this, by firstly asking what inclusions are provided in the rates that only apply to honeymooners and then asking if the property offers things like :- Champagne or bubbly on arrival- Honeymoon cakes- Massages for two- Added bonus tour inclusions- Sunset on the beach dinner hamper for two- Candlelit villa or room on arrival complete with petals or chocolates on the bed at nightThings such as this will indicate that special thought has been given to what is really a very special occasion.

Many properties also have “honeymoon packages” which are tailored to suit these special occasions. These can include the couples massages, or any of the other added bonus inclusions mentioned above and do represent a good choice for a romantic honeymoon resort Rarotonga. Often because these inclusions are absorbed into the rates of the property, they do represent great buying and an opportunity to enjoy this special holiday at a very substantially discounted rate.

It has become very popular now to advertise locations and destinations for special occasion holidays. More and more resorts, boutique villa properties and accommodation places in general are getting into the special occasion holiday setting and giving more and more thought to value added inclusions in their rates. Especially is this the case in the South Pacific including Rarotonga where the name alone conjours up the feeling of romance – tropical palms swaying in the breeze, beautiful sunsets at night and stunning sunrises to enjoy together etc.

Hopefully the above points are helpful in the decisions that are made when choosing a romantic honeymoon resort or boutique luxury villa accommodation property in Rarotonga Cook Islands.

Find the Most Wanted Toys for Christmas 2011

Article by Tony Flip

Marking the start of the holiday shopping season, Buy Toys for Christmas 2011 has come to launch. The site aims to help parents and family members identify key products of the season. The site also assists shoppers in deciding which toys are appropriate for their gift recipient and in finding these hot toys while they are still on the shelf.

One recent post on Toys for Christmas addresses the question what are the hot toys for Christmas 2011. The site discusses ideal toys for each age range and what the current trends may be. Since electronics are in demand this season, the site talks about such popular toys as learning tablets for small children, radio controlled vehicle toys with new technology and much more. Some other current trends include Lego, which is quintessentially popular and has come out with several new spins that the Toys for Christmas site discusses in detail for the convenience of the reader.

Another function of the site is to aid shoppers in figuring out where to acquire their ideal toys for Christmas 2011. If the shopper is proactive enough, they may catch their perfect gift while it is still in stock on the store shelves in their favorite toy shop or department store. Other toys are in such high demand that there is little chance of them being on the shelves even early into the season. The site helpfully points out which products specifically will be in high demand and difficult to find, and predicts which toys will be in better supply throughout the season.

The site also discusses pricing, which is a concern for some shoppers. High demand toys tend to reach inflated prices, especially on the shelves of a physical department store. Toys that are staples from year to year tend to remain at one stable price, but seasonal demand can cause prices to skyrocket for certain gifts. This can make them less accessible to shoppers who are unsure how to get the best deal for their money. The site points out some criteria for pricing and offers viable solutions for obtaining certain high priced toys at a reasonable low cost.

Toys for Christmas works to inform the reader and assist them in their shopping this season. It has been situated as a hub for all questions about buying toys for Christmas 2011. The site is active now and being updated regularly for accurate and up-to-date information on current gift trends.Visit us on Toys For Christmas

Proven Advice to Find Three Secret Luxury Family Resorts and Enjoy A Great Holiday

Proven Advice to Find Three Secret Luxury Family Resorts and Enjoy A Great Holiday — By an Expert

Travel, in the younger sort, is a part of education; in the elder, a part of experience. It is with this thought in mind that I decided to write this article that all can enjoy the pleasures of travel even on a tight budget.

Many of the award winning family resorts are beyond the means of those on a budget, but Woodloch Pines Resort in Hawley, Pennsylvania offers the amenities of a luxury resort for under 100 per night. Located on a private lake in the Northern Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, this family owned resort was voted Favorite Family Vacation Spot by the readers of Better Homes and Gardens. Open year-round, the resort offers an amazing feast of activities from waterskiing, sail boating, and bumper boats in summer to snow tubing, ice skating and snowmobiling in the winter. Kids of all ages love the go carts, batting cages, pool water slide and hayrides. Parents enjoy the Jacuzzis, massages for themselves and the all-inclusive rates that are difficult to find at U.S. resorts. Prices vary depending on room selection, time of year and number of people, but a family of four can purchase a four-night package that includes room and 12 meals for under 100 per night. The family-friendly, all-inclusive pricing draws hundreds of families south of the border to Mexico each year. But families don’t have to leave the country to find all-inclusive deals.

Tyler Place Family Resort on Lake Champlain in Vermont also offers this pricing that includes meals, snacks, lodging, and most activities. Tyler Place’s eight different kid’s programs offer structured nature and outdoor programs for children of all ages. Family water activities include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, paddleboats, bumper tube rides, banana boats, and lots more. Other entertainment includes tennis, mountain biking, indoor and outdoor pools, and group sports. Newborn and infant care is provided for parents who want to take art, yoga and aerobics classes, or visit vineyards in Quebec. Discount, off-peak rates for a family of four are just under 100 per night and include lodging with separate children’s rooms, all meals and access to services and activities.

Some of America’s original family resorts focused on simple accommodations that provided easy access to the great outdoors. Nitschke’s Northern Resort, in Minocqua, Wisconsin has carried on the fine example of the original resort, with its tidy accommodations, coupled with the pristine setting on the edge of a lake, surrounded by forest. Activities include fishing, hiking, boating, jet skiing, or simply relaxing on the porch of your cabin. The beach and playground provide additional play opportunities for children. Ice fishing and snowmobiling trails provide winter entertainment options. Despite the secluded, natural setting of this family resort, the town is within boating, walking, and driving distance when you need groceries or a change of scenery. Cabins accommodate up to eight people easily and rates start at an amazingly affordable 100 per night.

Tips to find a great deal on your summer holiday in 2011

Article by David Wilcox

If you’re currently on the lookout for cheap summer holidays, you’re certainly not alone. People across the country are currently weighing up their holiday options, deciding where and when they want to travel and what they want to do during their trip abroad.

Whether you’re a solo traveller, a couple or a family looking for cheap family holidays abroad, one thing you will want to make sure of is that you don’t pay over the odds for your summer holiday in 2011. After all, there are few things that are more annoying than paying more for a holiday, or any other product or service for that matter, than you would have had you shopped around and bought elsewhere.

Shopping around for your holiday isn’t always the quickest process but it is a worthwhile one. The potential savings you could make can be fairly significant and the time you spend doing your research will hopefully result in a holiday enjoyed by all of those travelling.

There are a few other things to bear in mind when it comes to booking your holiday if you want to make the most of your money.

The first of these things is the destination. You should consider not only the costs of getting there and accommodation but also the everyday costs for things such as meals and drinks. In some cases, people book holidays based on the cost of getting and staying in a destination but fail to consider the amount they will spend during their stay. It is sometimes the case that people are better off financially paying more to get to their destination as they are likely to spend a lot less once there. Before deciding on a destination you should research the costs for everyday items and look into the currency and exchange for the countries you are considering visiting.

When booking your flights, it is good to be aware of the varying prices depending on which day you travel in the week. For some destinations, you may have little choice on which day you travel on but for the more popular destinations there are now flights leaving daily. It isn’t unusual for weekend flights to cost more than midweek flights so it may save you money if you book your flights for a week day.

The next step is to consider accommodation. It is particularly important to do your research and shop around for accommodation as prices can vary greatly. When booking accommodation you need to consider the type of board you require for your holiday, the location of the hotel and the facilities available.

Many people choose to book an all inclusive holiday which means their food and drink at their resort is included in the price. This is a good option for those that are keen to stick to a strict budget and keep expenses to a minimum once at your destination. Others prefer to go for a self-catering break as it gives them the freedom to try different restaurants.

You also need to look into the location of the hotel. There’s no point going for the cheapest hotel if you are going to end up spending a fortune on taxis because your hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Before booking anything you should find out what there is locally and how far away any attractions you intend on visiting are.

A final choice is to choose between booking the individual elements of your break separately (flights, accommodation and transport) or opting for a package break. The first option of booking everything separately allows you to tailor your holiday to your exact needs. There are however some downsides when compared to booking a package holiday. Package breaks require less effort and usually offer you more protection should you have any issues with your flights or accommodation.

There isn’t a right or wrong option however, it all depends on the people travelling and their specific needs.

If you bear in mind all of these points when booking your holiday, you should have no problems finding a low cost holiday that suits your exact requirements.

Find Some Serenity on a Luxury Honeymoon Hideaway

Article by Claire Bryant

After the planning and excitement of a wedding, most couples look forward to getting away on their honeymoon holidays to spend some quiet time alone. Read on to find out about destinations for tailor made honeymoons that go the extra mile to ensure some romantic serenity.

Not every couple will seek out peace and quiet for their honeymoon holidays, but for many, a luxury honeymoon that provides a sense of tranquil isolation will seem like bliss, and there aren’t many locations as isolated and yet as comfortable as a tropical island set in the middle of an ocean. This is true of the exotic island resorts you can find among the reefs and atolls of the Indian Ocean, such as the Seychelles, Mauritius and the Maldives. Here are two of our Maldives honeymoon favourites.

Naladhu Island Hotel in the Maldives

With just nineteen private houses on the island, the Naladhu hotel in the Maldives is a perfect ultra-luxurious hideaway for honeymoon holidays. The Beach houses each have a private pool accessed through sliding glass doors, and couples can choose to bathe in a romantic outdoor bath, or under a waterfall shower. Each beach house also has a private steam room.

Because a luxury honeymoon is a-once-in-a-lifetime holiday, newlyweds should have their honeymoons tailor made to their desires. For those who like to stay active, Naladhu makes available water sports such as sailing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, surfing, and sea kayaks, as well as deep sea fishing trips. And should you wish to seek out a little extra company, there are scuba diving centres nearby so you can enjoy the attentions of the fish.

However, if you think you’d prefer your luxury honeymoon to be more about unwinding than exploring, a little pampering may be in order. There’s someone on hand at the Naladhu to give you a massage on the beach or under the shaded veranda of your house.

An alternative to the Beach Houses are the Ocean Houses at the same hotel. These are similar, but a little more removed from the island, positioned over the water so that you can hear the waves wash gently beneath your feet, under the decking. The hotel has the option of dining alone on your luxury honeymoon, too. You can have meals served to you at your villa, or even take an intimate dinner for two on a private beach on a deserted island.

Angsana Velavaru Island, Maldives

If a private beach weren’t secluded enough, the Angsana Velavaru Island hotel has gone the extra mile. Two thirds of a mile, to be exact, which is the distance out into the shallow bay the hotels InOcean villas have been built. Each InOcean villa stands alone, surrounded by the warm turquoise sea, with the main hotel a seven minute boat ride away. Here, couples on honeymoon holidays can enjoy unrivaled privacy in their sturdy two-story villa, each with a roof top terrace and a private pool attached.

In these oases of peace, newlyweds can soak up the hot sunshine and enjoy the views of the tropical ocean all around on a luxury honeymoon undisturbed in peace and quiet. What could be more intimate and romantic than you and your partner having an ocean to yourselves?
